Amman - what to do

Amman is a modern Arb city with many sights and activities: Take a walk through the Old City in East Amman, or spend your time in the bars, restaurants and galleries of modern West Amman. You can not miss the countless mosques, some of them are real architectural gems well worth a visit.

Interested in the history of the city? Many ancient remains are still to be seen, for example a 2nd century AD Roman Theater that seats about 6,000 people or the Citadel on the highest hill of Amman. There are also many museums dedicated to the history of Jordan and its capital.
