Tabaqat Fahl

Also known as Pella, this is another site with remains from different epoques of settlement. The place has been inhabited since about 6,000 BC and excavations show remains of those early times as well as Roman and medievel ruins.

But Tabaqat Fahl is not only worth a visit for those interested in ancient history, the area also has a beatiful landscape with great views over the Jordan river and to Palestine.
